The first question a lot of people ask me is "how much does a website cost?" I'm afraid the answer is the same as that to "how long is a piece of string?". However it's understandable that people ask the question as it's an area with varying prices and open to exploitation.
The websites I've designed have started at a price of £150 although some of them have had a budget of a few thousand. If you require a website presence for less than £150 I would recommend you get a domain name, e-mail forwarding and one-page website design and hosting deal from one of the many companies online - just go to Google and keyword in something like "email and one page website" and you'll find their websites. However, over that amount, basically I will try and work within your budget and inform you of what will be possible within that.
A high percentage of the cost of a website is spent on focussing the client - determining what they want and how they want to show it. So the more sorted you are at the start the better. Please read the advice section for more details.
