Soul Vagabond is a selection of original songs written and performed by Jacqui Callis. This CD features 18 songs with a Celtic/folksy feel, written, or co-written, by Jacqui - some are unaccompanied voice and harmonies and others feature: fiddle, dulcimer, pedal steel, slide, lead and rhythm guitars, banjo and double bass.

Jacqui is singer and rhythm guitarist with Cahooty, a four piece acoustic roots band based in Cornwall.

Cahooty formed in November 2004 - the result of two duos coming together and playing "in cahoots". With Stu and Chris bringing a distinctive Blues and Cajun feel to Jacqui and Tony's Bluegrass and Country sound an acoustic soup emerged with its own unique flavour.

cut loose
Jacqui and Tony also appear and occasionally host sessions at the pickin' sessions in Cornwall under the name of Cut Loose. Playing mainly early country and bluegrass and lovers of sweet harmony singing, they perform songs from the Louvin Brothers to Gram Parsons. See Cut Loose at the Blue Anchor here.
